We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced Biomedical Engineer who is looking to expand their skillset whilst working for an established Australian company who have recently expanded into the field of Biomedical Engineering.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Biomedical Engineer who will be the lead Biomed for the state.

The primary function of the role will be to Performance test, electrical safety test and maintain general medical equipment, primarily at GP's, healthcare centres, imaging centres and day surgeries. The Company is currently looking to expand services into the hospital arena.

The successful applicant would be someone willing to learn new skills within the business, which would include Test and Tag, Fire Safety testing, infrared thermal imaging etc. The goal being that they can provide a one stop shop for the full array of electrical/medical testing.

Will each new skill learnt, salary would be increased to reflect the new responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Open to adding on non-biomedical skills.
  • Find satisfaction working on an array of non-critical equipment
  • Good biomedical engineering experience - ideally field service engineer work
  • Able to work independently
  • Good work ethic

There are currently 3 permanent roles available, 1 each in Vic, NSW and Qld. As the role involves around 20% of your time travelling, you will be provided with a generous vehicle and Fuel Card package as well as a Laptop and Mobile phone.

Starting salary will be in the $75-80K range with room to increase with each new skill and responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
