We are seeking a passionate Electro-technology Teacher/trainer to join our team at the Northern College of the Arts & Technology in Preston and play an important role in helping to shape the next generation of electricians.

It is home to a state of the art $20 million trades and technology facility that includes fully equipped workshops and classrooms that are resourced to industry standards. About you

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students to reach their full potential.

Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing the TAE Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, completed a certificate III in Electrotechnology, hold an A class electrician license and have recent industry experience.

Previous teaching experience is valued but not essential — we welcome applications from tradespeople looking to step into education.
