About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Service Centre Technical Analyst to support the effective delivery of IT service management and technical support. This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support via Service Desk, onsite, and classroom support channels.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests using ITSM tools.
  • Assist in ITIL Problem Management and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Deliver 2nd level support for endpoint computing, teaching technologies, and video conferencing.
  • Monitor workloads and provide data-driven recommendations for resource allocation.
  • Contribute to ITIL process enablement and documentation.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Relevant IT degree or equivalent experience/training.
  • Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in call centre environments and dynamic work settings.
  • ITIL framework knowledge and experience with ITSM tools (desirable).
  • Experience in data analytics and reporting.
Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
