Darktrace is looking for an experienced Cyber Infrastructure Engineer to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, integrating, and optimizing Darktrace products across complex environments, ensuring customers receive world-class AI-powered cybersecurity protection. You will act as a trusted advisor to key clients, providing strategic guidance on security infrastructure design and helping to maintain healthy deployments. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating across internal teams to drive successful customer outcomes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead deployment planning and implementation for Darktrace products across network, cloud, OT, and email environments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to key customers, guiding them in security infrastructure design and best practices.
  • Perform advanced Darktrace Autonomous Response enablement and integration, including custom routes, firewall integrations, and email security configurations.
  • Proactively engage with customers to maintain and optimize deployments, ensuring high performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges independently, escalating as needed.
  • Efficiently manage customer support and service tickets, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Provide clear and professional handovers to internal teams post-deployment.
  • Maintain strong documentation and administrative workflows for deployments and support cases.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, and other go-to-market teams to drive seamless deployments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (3+ years in a similar role).
  • Strong hands-on experience deploying and integrating cybersecurity solutions, preferably including Darktrace products.
  • Deep understanding of networking, including protocols, LAN/WAN, and security architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security tools and vendors (AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deployments while meeting service-level objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and internal teams effectively.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is a plus.
  • Darktrace Cyber Engineer Certification required; Product Specialist Level 1 certification preferred.
  • Fluency in Japanese is a plus.
