Selection CriteriaApproval to teach Library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education, with the ability to develop and deliver high-quality release from face-to-face programs.
Evidence of highly developed communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a collaborative team, enhance practice, and build positive and authentic relationships with students, staff, parents/carers, and the wider community.
Well-developed skills in managing student behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing, with a proven capacity to support students from diverse backgrounds.
Willingness and experience in teaching across the school K-6, including in positions outside the library and programs such as music, band and choir.
ConditionsAn unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Special NotesThis is a permanent part-time position of 4 days per week, 0.8FTE (full time equivalent)
If applicable, engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher Librarian qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education which must be completed within 24 months
