Role Overview

Leading Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead daily site operations for a TMR road construction project on the Bruce Highway in Far North Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating onsite activities, ensuring compliance with TMR standards and specifications, managing subcontractors and site personnel, and maintaining safety, quality, and environmental controls.

The position is fulltime, permanent with ongoing stable employment.

Project Overview

The project involves road upgrade works to the Bruce Highway (10N) including: road and formation widening, wide center line treatment, pavement reconstruction (unbound and lightly bound pavements), excavation cuttings, roadside barriers, concrete drainage structures, asphalt surfacing and bitumen sealing.

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years experience supervising civil construction works (road and infrastructure), preferably on TMR projects
  • Proven understanding of TMR specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Current Driver's License (manual )
  • Competency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Working knowledge of environmental compliance, erosion and sediment control, and cultural heritage protocols
  • Sound computer skills
  • Cert III Civil Construction
  • Cert IV in Civil Construction Supervision is of benefit
