About the Role

Laminar IP is currently seeking a
Senior Associate / Associate Patent Attorney
to join our growing and dynamic team in Sydney.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients both locally and abroad to protect their innovative technologies.

The role will involve all aspects of patent work including drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in Australia and abroad.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • 3+ years post-registration experience as a Trans-Tasman Patent Attorney;
  • Technical background in chemistry, life sciences, engineering, computer science or related fields;
  • A focus on client service;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Exceptional technical knowledge;
  • An eye for detail;
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral);
  • Highly organised and responsible with experience prioritising and working to deadlines; and
  • A positive attitude with a collaborative and innovative mindset.
