Resource Up has partnered with several companies across the Underground Mining Space including Tier 1 Principal Miners and Tier 1 Mining Contractors who are currently on the hunt for Underground Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters with Maintenance Experience to work on their underground mobile plant fleets in the Goldfield regions across WA and the Eastern State. We also have a Leading Hand roles.

Working on a variety of Underground Mining equipment in either a workshop on site or a floating field service position we are sure we have a role for you.

Our roles are Direct PERM or TEMP to PERM or Full Time Contracting, however should you prefer to remain in a contract role indefinitely you can. You Can Start Immediately

We have 8:6, 7:7, 2:2, 2:1's available

We are also continuously hiring other maintenance personnel, such as Auto Electricians, Boilermakers, and Serviceperson

The Roles:
  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance of all underground mining equipment by running diagnostics testing of specialist diesel machinery & equipment (including trucks and ancillary) in a mining environment
  • Carrying out repairs, maintenance, servicing and managing work orders
  • Testing engine safety, part upgrades, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance and repairing faults
  • Field Service or Breakdown Experience Highly regarded
  • High attention to detail regarding personal and team safety
Some Of the Machines:
  • Boggers: CAT and Sandvik Underground Loaders
  • Underground Mining Trucks including CAT, Sandvik and Atlas
  • Long Haul Drills, Twin Boom and Single Boom Jumbos
  • Various additional equipment including Cable Bolters, LVs, Articulated Trucks and LVs
Skills/Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 year experience working within mining maintenance
  • Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
  • Hold a valid C Class Australian driver license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol test
  • Have legal working rights within Australia
