JL MCFADZEN DIESEL SERVICES is currently on the look out for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic's to join our team. Supporting our clients in the Goldfields and Pilbara regions of Western Australia. About the Role:

2:1 Days/Nights roster - DIDO Residential or FIFO from Perth

2:2 Days/Nights roster - DIDO Residential or FIFO from Perth

  • Complete breakdown works, troubleshooting & diagnostics, general servicing and component change outs across a variety of HME equipment (Hitachi, Liebherr, Komatsu and Caterpillar excavators/shovels and dozers).
  • Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Perform and complete major rebuilds and repairs in the field and workshop as required.
  • Maintain an efficient, safe, clean and tidy work area to the highest standards.
  • Deliver a high level of professionalism and work collaboratively within a team.

About you:

  • Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate.
  • Post-trade experience minimum 2 years.
  • Extensive knowledge on Hitachi, Liebherr, Komatsu and Caterpillar equipment.
  • Australian Working Rights.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Meet our pre-employment medical criteria (including drug and alcohol screening).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Practice health and safety at all times.

JL MCFADZEN DIESEL SERVICES provides specialised product support and maintenance on hydraulic excavator and shovels throughout most states and territories in Australia. Established in 2010, we provide the following services to various mining companies:

  • Specialist site support and field service for Hitachi, Liebherr, Komatsu and Caterpillar excavator and shovel fleets.
  • In-house planning, scoping, and execution of all major shutdowns.
  • Excavator and shovel relocation.
  • Hydraulic tunes, pump flows, general maintenance, and all diagnostic repairs.
  • Hydraulic system and component failure analysis.
  • Powerpack and Motivator hire.
  • Machine recovery.
  • Specialised tooling hire.

We also carry out maintenance and diagnostics on all mining and construction machinery holding vendors with some of the leading companies in the mining industry.
