CNC Brake Press Operator/Setter

About us

Established over 35 years, we're a leader in supplying CNC-fabricated and machined components. Our workshop includes a wide range of modern CNC brake presses from 45T to 1000T.

The role

We're seeking an experienced CNC Brake Press Operator/Setter to produce high-accuracy components to specification. You'll work with minimal supervision and follow safe, methodical QA procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC brake presses (45–1000T range) to produce parts to drawing/spec.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing/workshop drawings.
  • Measure and verify dimensions to tight tolerances using standard metrology tools.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and complete QA documentation.
  • Troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices.

Skills & experience

  • Previous CNC brake press setting and operating experience (required).
  • Knowledge of Cybelec controllers (advantageous).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Committed to safe working practices and company QA procedures.
  • Immediate start available.
