Laser Cutter Operator

Alliance Laser is an Australian owned Campbellfield based steel processing business specialising in medium to heavy gauge metal bending, laser cutting and pressing. Alliance Laser has long been known as one of the most reliable names in steel forming, owing to our principles around quality, customer service, and turnaround.

We are seeking an experienced Laser Cutting Machine Operator. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday on Day Shift.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming the machinery to achieve optimum efficiency and productivity. This position may also be involved in warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts.

Attractive pay rate to the right person.

Essential skills/experience for this position are:

• Ability to read engineering drawings and be able to work from these;

• Previous working experience in the steel/engineering industry;

• Previous experience operating Overhead Cranes;

• Current forklift license;

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions;

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment;

• A proficient 'can do' attitude and honest work ethic.
