We are seeking a part-time Accountant – Accounts Receivable to join our Finance team in this newly created role. This role is pivotal in managing the receivable function and supporting the property finance department with accounting and administrative tasks. About the role

  • Manage accounts receivable processes, including receipting and reconciliation
  • Input and review invoices in Nexus/MRI systems, escalating disputes as needed
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end processes
  • Support rent roll activities and maintain accurate tenancy schedules
  • Assist with issuing outgoings, additional charges, and casual mall leasing tasks
  • Identify and implement process improvements within accounts receivable
  • Act as the point of contact for all AR matters relating to Property Finance
  • Provide support to Finance Managers and contribute to audit requirements

About you

  • Completed or currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Accounting
  • 2–3 years' experience in accounts receivable, ideally within the property sector
  • Recent experience using MRI, Nexus or similar systems
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • A proactive, energetic, and self-motivated approach with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams

This role will be 4 days per week based either out of our Brisbane Office in the CBD, or Head Office in Sydney, Double Bay, both offering a modern and collaborative working environment designed to support both productivity and team connection.
