At Kinetic, we're moving more than passengers — we're moving communities. As Australia and New Zealand's largest bus network, we're looking for a Network Scheduler to design and optimise service schedules that deliver reliability, efficiency, and great passenger experiences.
Why you'll love this roleYou'll take the lead in designing efficient, compliant, and data-driven timetables using Hastus. Working closely with our Charter Operations and Service Delivery teams, you'll help ensure every kilometre and minute counts — driving commercial performance and operational excellence.
What You'll Do- Develop and maintain accurate, compliant timetables and vehicle schedules in Hastus
- Partner with operations teams to identify improvements and boost service efficiency
- Analyse data, benchmark performance, and deliver insights to support strategic decisions
- Ensure schedules meet legislative, contractual, and operational requirements
- Support tendering, budgeting, and business cases with detailed cost analysis and reports
- Generate GTFS exports and manage system integrations for seamless real-time tracking
- Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in scheduling, transport, logistics, or a similar field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for efficiency
- Confident communicator who collaborates effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in fast-paced operational environments (Hastus experience highly regarded)
