At Kinetic, we're moving more than passengers — we're moving communities. As Australia and New Zealand's largest bus network, we're looking for a Network Scheduler to design and optimise service schedules that deliver reliability, efficiency, and great passenger experiences.

Why you'll love this role

You'll take the lead in designing efficient, compliant, and data-driven timetables using Hastus. Working closely with our Charter Operations and Service Delivery teams, you'll help ensure every kilometre and minute counts — driving commercial performance and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain accurate, compliant timetables and vehicle schedules in Hastus
  • Partner with operations teams to identify improvements and boost service efficiency
  • Analyse data, benchmark performance, and deliver insights to support strategic decisions
  • Ensure schedules meet legislative, contractual, and operational requirements
  • Support tendering, budgeting, and business cases with detailed cost analysis and reports
  • Generate GTFS exports and manage system integrations for seamless real-time tracking
What You'll Bring
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in scheduling, transport, logistics, or a similar field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for efficiency
  • Confident communicator who collaborates effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in fast-paced operational environments (Hastus experience highly regarded)
