The Procurement Relationship Manager is responsible for managing strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring delivery of high-quality products that meet Ubank's operational and regulatory needs. This role plays a critical part in enabling agile, tech driven solutions by aligning supplier performance with Ubank's innovation, compliance and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Act as a primary point of contact between the business and suppliers
  • Conduct regular supplier reviews to ensure performance, risk and compliance obligations are met

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal business units to understand their procurement needs and align supplier solutions accordingly
  • Influence and support stakeholders in supplier selection, onboarding and performance management
  • Provide guidance on the procurement processes and policy compliance

Commercial

  • Support negotiations and implementation of supplier contracts
  • Monitor supplier performance against SLA and KPI
  • Manage contract lifecycle events such as renewals and amendments

Procurement Strategy Support

  • Contribute to category strategies and sourcing plans
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation innovation and supplier consolidation
  • Provide market and supplier insights to inform procurement decisions

Risk

  • Ensure suppliers meet regulatory and legal standards
  • Proactively manage third party risk through due diligence and ongoing monitoring
  • Maintain documentation to support audit and regulatory requirements

Data and Reporting

  • Track and report on supplier performance, spend analytics and relationship health
  • Maintain accurate records in procurement and vendor management systems
  • Present findings and insights to leadership and stakeholders

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive initiatives to improve supplier collaboration, process efficiency, and service delivery
  • Support change management and procurement transformation projects where needed

Your Experience
Knowledge and solid experience within Financial Services particularly around:

  • Procurement or supplier relationship management (5+ years) across both Digitial Business and Technology platforms
  • Experience within the Banking & Financial Services industry advantageous
  • Deep understanding of third party risk management and compliance obligations along with regulatory expectations
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally to balance commercial, risk and strategic outcomes
  • Negotiation experience to deliver value on price, service levels, innovation, risks sharing and continuous improvement
  • Project management
  • Strong commercial acumen
