Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in enabling TIQ to achieve its objectives in line with TIQs Strategic Workforce and Business Plans. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and consultancy services to a diverse range of internal stakeholder across a broad range of HR activities.As the Team Leader, you will build capability and guide the Senior HR Business Partners in providing a diverse range of strategic and operational services that include industrial relations, employee relations, learning and development, employee engagement, workplace culture, and governance to support TIQ's workforce.

Based in Brisbane, here's what your role will involve:

Lead and manage a small team of Senior HR Business Partners in the provision of contemporary HR activities including but not limited to: HR policy advice and application, case management, performance management coaching for leaders. This includes modelling behaviours and attitudes aligning with TIQ's values and supporting the development of the team through shared learning and coaching.
Ensure verbal and written advice provided by the HR team, is consistent and compliant with relevant legislation, industrial instruments and custom and practice, both in Queensland and across international jurisdictions.
Facilitating the resolution of complex employee and industrial relations issues through the provision of effective support, through case management and workplace interventions.
Undertaking HR projects, including research and preparation of associated reports, submissions and correspondence, and implement agreed outcomes.
Providing relevant data and accompanying analysis to support business initiatives and employee management including establishment management.
Identifying strategic HR issues and develop strategies that align with organisational needs and comply with relevant HR legislative and organisational policy requirements.
Provide high level, comprehensive written and verbal communications to the TIQ Board, CEO, ELT, Director and Manager, HR and employees on a range of HR matters.
Develop and implement a range of HR policies, procedures and practices while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and identifying state-wide HR risks.
Coordinating the implementation of change activities impacting HR systems and services and develop and implement strategies that effect change while maintaining service delivery to management and staff.
Partner with the Executive and Senior Leaders to enable a positive culture within TIQ which encourages and recognises high performance, builds leadership capabilities and supports employees to maximise their health and wellbeing.
