About Us

Champions Gym is a boutique premium martial arts club in Perth, founded in 2012 by Pamorn Martdee and Whitney Tuna. We're not a "normal gym". We believe health and fitness is a lifestyle – a mix of:

The Role – Boxing & Muay Thai Thai Coach (Part-Time)

We're looking for a coach who cares about more than just combat and takes the time to get to know people, first.

Someone who:

• Can remember members by their first name
• Can connect with the nervous first-timer and the aspiring competitor
• Takes initiative, doesn't wait to be told, and leads from the front

You'll be based at either our Joondalup Club or Myaree Club with opportunities to work across all of our clubs. What You'll Be Doing

• Leading high-energy classes for everyday people
• Teaching skills that work – from self-defence basics to competition pathways
• Creating a welcoming, no-ego vibe in every class
• Helping members set goals and stay accountable (not just "see you next week")
• Building and maintaining a strong, positive training community
• Communicating clearly – on the mats, in the group, and one-on-one

Skills & Qualifications

Must-haves (or willing to obtain):

• Background in Muay Thai and/or Boxing (competitive experience a bonus, not essential)
• Demonstrated advanced skills in Muay Thai and/or Boxing
• Australian work authorisation required
• Working With Children Check and First Aid certificate must be held before commencing employment

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working with beginners and nervous first-timers
• Strength & Conditioning knowledge
