Restaurant Manager – Hecho en Mexico, Crows Nest

We're looking for an experienced and driven Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Hecho en Mexico, Crows Nest – perfect for someone who lives and breathes hospitality and thrives in a leadership role.

As our Restaurant Manager, you'll take charge of daily operations, inspire and grow the team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage both floor and kitchen teams, while also driving efficiency, profitability, and service excellence.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Recruit, train, roster, and motivate staff to achieve results.
  • Ensure food quality and service consistently meet brand standards.
  • Manage customer feedback with professionalism and care.
  • Oversee stock levels, supplier relationships, and inventory control.
  • Monitor costs, sales, and performance to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
  • Report directly to the owner on performance and outcomes.
  • Implement strategies to boost service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership and restaurant management experience.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and licensing standards.
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage conflict effectively.
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, and motivating teams.
  • Attention to detail with a passion for quality and consistency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
