We manage a diverse portfolio of owned and distributed brands, including household names such as Maxwell & Williams and Casa Domani and supply major retailers across Australia and international markets. As the company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to play a leading role in shaping and executing our brand and marketing strategies across our dynamic product portfolio.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Brand Manager will act as the marketing lead within the team, driving the growth, positioning and performance of two owned brands while overseeing the execution of marketing initiatives for several distributed brands in the homewares and lifestyle categories.

This is a hands-on, strategic role responsible for developing and delivering integrated brand campaigns, managing seasonal go-to-market strategies, coordinating bi-annual photoshoots and leading brand communications across all channels.

The Brand Manager will manage one direct report and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales and our in-house Creative Studio, as well as external partners to ensure consistent and impactful brand execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Brand Leadership

  • Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop and implement brand strategies that drive awareness, engagement and sales across retail, eCommerce and digital channels.
  • Lead the management and positioning of two owned brands, ensuring all activity aligns with business and brand objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing activity for distributed brands, maintaining consistency and excellence in activation.
  • Act as the key marketing contact for the brand portfolio, providing clear direction and leadership to internal and external stakeholders.

2. Campaign & Content Management

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, creation and execution of brand campaigns from concept through to delivery.
  • Manage bi-annual photoshoots, overseeing creative direction, styling, production and delivery of campaign assets.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling brand communications and content across paid, owned, and earned media.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to ensure campaigns are optimised for performance across both owned eCommerce platforms and retail partner sites.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Line manage and mentor one direct report, supporting their professional growth and ensuring effective execution of marketing programs.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on creativity, accountability and results.
  • Manage priorities and workflows within the team to deliver projects efficiently and on time.

4. Brand & Market Performance

  • Monitor brand health, market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Work closely with Commercial and Product teams to align marketing strategies with product launches and sales objectives.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal spend and strong ROI across campaigns.

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Proven experience in brand management, ideally within the homewares or lifestyle categories.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on delivery.
  • Strong creative sensibility with meticulous attention to detail in brand presentation.
  • Confident in managing external partners including creative agencies, photographers and production teams.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a marketing or brand-focused role ideally from a homewares, lifestyle or retail background.
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports.
  • Experience with seasonal marketing cycles and retail partnerships is a plus.
  • Familiarity with budget tracking and performance reporting.
