We are a well established company in Chatswood specialising in premium high-end residential and commercial window coverings. We supply to Chatswood and surrounding arears.

We are offering a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Window Furnishings Consultant or Interior Decorator to join our small friendly team and manage to day to day running of our Showroom and staff.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Scheduling of appointments for sales and installers (employed and contractors)
  • Following up on outstanding debtors and handling payments.
  • Overseeing general showroom appearance.
  • Oversee online enquiries and make sure they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Managing the part-time staff and making sure they are utilising their workday.
  • Assist the sales team in writing quotes and preparing tenders.
  • Improving office efficiencies through better processes and implementing a procedure manual.
  • Arrange regular team meetings and supplier staff training.
  • Ordering products and spare parts for the sales team and clients.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A genuine interest in interior design and home improvement.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office. We use an industry-based CRM system, and training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in managing staff would be an advantage.
  • An understanding of home-based technology. Most of our products are controlled by remote control and apps. You must be confident in using such items.
  • An appreciation for quality products. Our products are high end and priced accordantly.

It would be an advantage if you had the following.

  • Experience in mid to high-end window treatments would be advantageous.
  • Read and understand floor plans and window schedules.
  • Experience with social media. Assist our social media supplier with content and prepare reels.

Days/Time:

  • Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
  • Rostered Saturdays 10.00am - 4.00pm
