The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a Warehouse person to join our hardworking team on minimum 3 month contract with the possibility of extension, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm; Wednesday 8:30am to 5:00pm (Training period hours may differ).

Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position will include the following:

  • Pick, pack and label pallets carefully and with precision
  • Handling Incoming and Outgoing deliveries, customer pick up etc
  • Stock management
  • Preparing accurate delivery information such as labels and courier information
  • Manage problems and issues as they arise by escalating to the right team member
  • Maintain tidy and functional dispatch area and compliance with procedures

Skills & Experience

To be successful for this position, you will meet the following criteria:

  • MUST HAVE CURRENT FORKLIFT LICENCE
  • Previous experience in a warehouse position
  • Strong experience packing pallets, boxes etc
  • Computer skills using Outlook and Microsoft Office - MYOB Acumatica/ Advanced ideal but not essential
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to follow procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Have the ability to pick up new systems quickly

This 3 month contract is for an immediate start with the possibility of extension.
