Bar Biscotti is a vibrant, well established cafe in the heart of North Strathfield and one of the first projects of the Bearded Bakers. We are a very well established cafe where quality coffee, great drinks, and warm hospitality all come together. Whether it's a morning espresso, a lazy brunch or and afternoon matcha, we're all about creating a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere for our guests. We're looking for passionate, friendly, and reliable individuals to join our team as cafe waitstaff.

Your Role

As a Waiter/Waitress at Biscotti, you'll be the friendly face of our cafe. You'll provide attentive table service, engage with customers, and help maintain the welcoming vibe that keeps people coming back.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional manner
  • Present menus and explain daily specials or recommendations
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve drinks and dishes with attention to timing and presentation
  • Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Handle payments and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables and service areas
  • Work closely with baristas, kitchen, and bar staff to ensure smooth service
  • Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred, but not essential
  • A friendly, approachable attitude with strong communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and positive during busy periods
  • Team player with a proactive work ethic
  • Flexible availability (weekends, mornings, or evenings may be required)
  • A passion for coffee, food, and creating great customer experiences
