The Role

We're seeking a strategic and compliance-focused
Manager – Financial Crime Policy & Program (Sanctions & ABAC)
to lead Crown Resort's approach to financial crime obligations across Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining Crown's financial crime frameworks, policies, and standards, ensuring compliance with State, Commonwealth and international regulations.

Reporting to the Group Senior Manager – Financial Crime Policy & Program, you'll collaborate across Crown's functions and contribute to broader initiatives including AML/CTF and Proceeds of Crime. This is a Group role supporting Crown Resorts and each of the Crown properties. It is a unique opportunity to shape Crown's compliance posture and influence outcomes in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of Sanctions and ABAC policies, standards and procedures
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure frameworks reflect current obligations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate financial crime requirements into business operations
  • Support testing, deep-dive reviews and thematic assessments of Crown's financial crime framework
  • Ensure documentation and frameworks meet State, Commonwealth and international regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Crown's financial crime governance functions

About You

  • Proven experience in financial crime compliance, particularly in Sanctions and ABAC
  • Skilled in applying a risk-based approach and developing policies in regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of financial crime regulations, including interpretation of regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications highly desirable (e.g. Business, Commerce, Law, MBA)
  • Eligible for required Casino Employee Licenses (VCGLR, L&G NSW, LGIRS)
