The successful applicant will be a motivated, driven and skilled Diesel Mechanic with strong Agricultural Machinery knowledge and experience who is able to work autonomously and take direction well.

The duties are as follows:

• Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
• Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and checking parts
• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
• Performing scheduled maintenance services and reviews.
• Working on call and completing onsite repairs as required.
• Operate and drive machinery as required.

To be successful for this position the applicant will ideally hold the following Skill Level:

· Certificate 3 in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology

or

· a minimum of 2 years work experience in the field,
