Account Manager – Building Products (Brisbane or Gold Coast Based)

Location: Brisbane or Gold Coast | Salary:
$90,000 + Super + Vehicle + Bonus

Bellcore is proud to be partnering with one of Australia's most trusted and established manufacturers of steel building products. Celebrating over 50 years in business, our client is an industry leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of premium products including aluminium windows, doors, garage doors, and shutters. With a strong footprint in both the residential and commercial construction sectors, they maintain a robust national presence and a highly regarded network of local installers and trade partners.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Territory Sales Manager to join the team. Based in Brisbane or the Gold Coast, and working across key Queensland markets in SEQ, you'll be instrumental in driving growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This is a rare opportunity to represent a household name within the building products space and make a genuine impact on regional market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities within key residential and commercial sectors
  • Actively prospect and qualify leads through research, industry networking, referrals, and cold outreach
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers including builders, installers, contractors, developers, and project managers
  • Prepare and present professional, solution-based proposals tailored to customer needs
  • Manage client onboarding, project handover, and provide ongoing post-sale support to foster long-term partnerships
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings and industry trends to confidently advise clients
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments to identify new opportunities and support strategic planning
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting in CRM, including weekly call plans and monthly performance updates

Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • 3–5 years' experience in
    business development
    , preferably within the construction, building materials, manufacturing, engineering or trade supply industries - however industry isn't essential to us. So if you have outbound B2B sales experience, please apply.
  • A results-oriented and self-motivated approach, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels
  • A consultative sales style with strong technical acumen and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • A valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Queensland (and interstate on occasion)
