About the Company
We are working with a federal government client who is seeking an experienced EDRMS specialist. This role will sit within the Financial Services Branch which provides enabling, advisory and technical services supporting office accommodation and related services.
About the Role
The Information and Records Management Team sits within the Financial Services Branch and is responsible for enabling the work of the department through the provision of records and information management governance, EDRMS system support and records and information management services.
- Under limited direction provide operational specialised systems support for the CDPP's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) including:
- First and second level Helpdesk troubleshooting, resolution, analysis, and escalation.
- Log EDRMS Vendor support and enhancement requests.
- Liaising with EDRMS Vendor for technical resolutions
- Coordinates with IT systems and infrastructure support teams to resolve EDRMS issues.
- Support and relieve the Information Management Specialist EDRMS as required.
- Develops the IRM standard operating procedures (SOPs) and EDRMS Guides for both staff (customers) and IRM team processes.
- Provides advice to customers on records and information management best practice.
- Assists customers with file transfer and retrieval services, sentencing and destruction of records.
- Plan and delivery of EDRMS/IRM training, including the development of training products.
- Provides input into the development of strategies and policies for effective record and information management that support and enhance the department's business functions.
- Builds and sustains strong positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including liaison and issue resolution with all stakeholders.
- Assist the Records Officer with mail and courier processing.
- Undertakes a broad range of activities to ensure an appropriate level of service delivery.
About you
- Possesses specialist expertise on EDRMS systems, processes, and support.
- Well-developed active listening, communication and interpersonal skills enabling the development of, and maintaining of, positive internal and external stakeholders' relationships.
- Well-developed customer service support skills, including demonstrated ability to deliver help desk services and manage expectations, within a technologically changing environment.
- Ability to provide technical advice and support on records and information management systems.
- Experience in configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and use of an EDRMS and workflows (Objective ECM highly regarded).
- The physical capacity to lift and move boxes (up to 15kg) within WH&S guidelines.
- Must have Australian Citizenship.
- Minimum baseline, preferred level is Level 1 Negative Vetting security clearance.
The Benefits
- $57.09 to $60.74 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)
- Contract up to June 2027
- Sydney location
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
