What it means to lead QLD
Taking lead of QLD isn't just setting course on smooth sea's and watching the landscapes pass by. A successful leader with us ideally coming from bus but at least public transport will understand how quick things can change and will be able to go from 0-100 without missing a beat.
The spread of QLD covering 8 strategic depots from Sunshine Coast to Central QLD and over 300 friendly faces means regular travel and some impromptu requirements for "boots on the ground" support. You'll have a responsive yet calming demeanour, being able and resilient enough to support our team, ensuring we keep the public and our staff safe with buses on the road.
From exciting Hydrogen projects with new buses, to company asset and property acquisitions this role will test your ability to engage at all levels internally and externally.
About you:
Ideally, you've worked in Bus or Public Transport
Extensive executive experience in public or contracted service delivery environments
A proven track record in complex contract negotiation and performance oversight
Strong financial and operational management capabilities
An ability to influence stakeholders across government, industry and communities
Exceptional leadership capability to drive organisational performance and cultural alignment.
