About the role

This is a fast-past customer service role reporting to the Operations Manager

Your tasks will include but are not limited to;

  • providing professional customer service, ensuring information provided to our customers is accurate and timely
  • managing correspondence as needed
  • working with other departments including sales, logistics, admin and operations
  • using Netsuite (ERP system) to enter and manage quotes, sales orders and invoices and administer records accurately within a timely manner
  • national freight bookings

About You

We are looking for a strong team player that is adaptable and has a passion for customer service.  Ideally you may have recently held a customer service and/or dispatch clerk role and bring the following skills and qualities with you;

  • Strong customer focus (both internal and external)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills - both oral and written
  • Strong data entry and attention to detail, and be able to multi-task
  • Must be comfortable with a high volume of calls
  • Positive attitude, take initiative and can think outside the box
  • Team player but equally comfortable working independently
  • Strong planning and organising skills whilst being "hands on" with day-to-day tasks
  • Willingness to assist sales team in various tasks such as meeting clients face to face, assisting with quotes and sales
  • Ideally you will have experience in logistics including national freight bookings (not essential willing to train the right person)
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office and other CRM programs
  • Ability to adhere to organisational policies and procedures
  • Able to observe safe systems of work relevant to your work area and report potential hazards
