Position Overview: We are looking for a Production Team Member to join our afternoon shift at our Minto location. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production and distribution processes. Your primary responsibilities will include order picking and packing, loading trucks, maintaining strict quality control, stock replenishment, and general housekeeping, all with a strong emphasis on safety during the evening.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Picking and Packing: Carefully pick products based on customer orders, ensuring all items are packed securely, labeled accurately, and handled safely to prevent damage.

Loading Trucks: Safely and efficiently load trucks with customer orders, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement to prevent movement during transport.

Quality Control: Rigorously inspect products during the picking and packing process to ensure they meet our high-quality standards, immediately addressing any defects or concerns.

Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels regularly and replenish shelves as needed, ensuring all items are stored safely and are easily accessible for future orders.

General Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, including regular sweeping, organizing materials, and safe disposal of waste. Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar production or warehouse role is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy items safely
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work afternoon shifts
  • Forklift License is essential, experience on a side-loader preferred
  • Drivers license is preferred

Hours:

Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm

Night Shift: 2:00pm - 8:00pm
