Disability Support Worker

Bountiful Care is a Disability Support Service that specialises in delivering complex care to participants through the NDIS. We are a boutique service that is run by a Registered Nurse and strives to deliver a high level of person-to-person centred care.

Ongoing support and training is provided. Immediate start with multiple positions available in and surrounding the following suburbs: Ipswich, Laidley, Fig Tree Pocket, Logan, Brisbane, Wooloowin and surrounds.

Key Criteria:

  • Great communication skills and emotional resilience
  • Own Transport Required
  • A 'can do' attitude and strong initiative
  • Empathy and a caring nature
  • Ability to follow strict procedures and protocols
  • Ability to work individually and as team
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Willingness to obtain a Disability Worker Screening Card

The Role:

  • Follow strict care plans to assist participant with all activities of daily living, such as personal cares, mealtime management, medication administration and domestic duties.
  • Collaborate with family members, allied health professionals and other support team members to deliver a high level of care.
  • Facilitate and participate in community access to promote client wellbeing, as well as attending medical appointments.
  • Document client progress and maintain detailed and accurate records.

Hours & Remuneration:

Various shifts available depending on client location. Rates ranging from $42.00-$88.50.
