CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

The Australian Institute for Human Wellness is dedicated to helping improve the lives of individuals and communities. We are seeking a clinical psychologist to join our team of seven clinicians. We are looking for enthusiastic and confident individuals who are passionate about providing evidence-based psychological therapy.

This sub-contracting role would suit someone looking for part time work. Flexible working hours and days are available.

We provide five newly renovated consulting rooms and a group therapy room in the heart of St George health services, abundant referrals, supervision, administration support, internet and telephone access, practice management software, and marketing services.

Selection Criteria:

• Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist and endorsement as a clinical psychologist
• Demonstrated skills in and a commitment to providing a broad range of evidence-based psychological interventions including CBT
• Demonstrated experience in providing psychological services to children, adolescents and/or adults
• Able to function autonomously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Professional indemnity insurance

Desirable:

• Willing to work with children and adolescents
• Willing to run group therapy programs, particularly DBT groups
• Trained in and able to provide DBT, ACT, EMDR and/or Schema Therapy
