With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Manila & Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania & Cape Town, ECG have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior ECG personnel who have worked together for 30 + years.
We require a Project Controls Administrator; Electricalto join the Project Delivery Team, to aid in the delivery and execution of complex engineering projects across Australia and around the world.
The position is Perth based.
The Project Controls Administrator; Electrical will suit any construction or resource sector professional with 2 to 6 years experiencewho has a passion for working in a major project environment and being a part of the team that pulls the projects together, then executes the strategy, from studyand designthrough toconstruction commissioningand handover.
The ideal applicant will have experience in electrical engineering packages.
ECG are extensively involved in the renewables space: most of our project work involves the evaluation of the renewables option as a client priority.
While an engineering qualification will be an advantage, we will look at those holding commercial and legal qualifications, as well as construction economics, as long as the requisite experience stacks up. The role will require strong organizational and communication skills, as they will be working in an occasionally frantic environment, where many projects are running across Australia and around the world.
Ideal Key Experience required.
- Project administration experience, both office and site
- Construction experience: understanding the processes and linkages
- Exposure - understanding of the schedule
- Experience - exposure to Project Controls and Planning
- Ideally experience in electrical engineering and associated plant and packages
Skills and Attributes required
- Ideally Engineering / business / legal / construction economics degree
- Strong report writing and written communication skills
- Moderate to good Excel and Project Wise knowledge
- Experience in Project Forecasting and Planning
- Tendering and Estimating experience
- Microsoft Office Experience specifically
o Excel
o Word
o Powerpoint
- Microsoft Project / P6 experience
- Ultra positive work attitude, keen to work in a fast-paced role where organization is critical
