About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certificate III Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Bright Beginnings Early Years Learning Centre in Turvey Park, NSW. This part-time role is integral in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the children in our centre.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework to plan and deliver engaging educational programs for children aged 0-5 years
  • Providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that supports the wellbeing, learning and development of all children
  • Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
  • Documenting children's learning and development through observations, portfolios and other assessment tools
  • Actively participating in team meetings and professional development
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and centre policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • First Aid or ability to obtain
  • A current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one
  • Experience working in an early childhood education and care setting, preferably in a long day care or preschool environment
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
