Optical & Sales – Adrenaline Optometry

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person with exceptional customer service and sales skills to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding client care from start to finish and thrive in a boutique, high-end environment.

We are now in our third year of operations and are looking to expand our team. This is a hybrid role, and you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from opening through to closing the practice.

To Apply You Must Have:

• Proven sales experience in a boutique, upscaled, or high-end retail environment (e.g. eyewear, jewellery, fashion, cosmetics, premium lifestyle brands ie Prada, Tom Ford etc.
• Ability to deliver a personalised, high-level client experience.
• Strong computer and technical skills (Microsoft Office, email, CRM systems, online ordering platforms).
• Availability to work Saturdays on a rotating roster.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and assist patients in selecting frames and discussing lens options.
• Perform dispensing duties, including measurements and order processing, to ensure the best patient experience.
• Manage online store orders: receiving, processing, packing, and coordinating shipping.
• Process payments electronically and via cash.
• Coordinate patient requests, emails, and appointments.
• Maintain stock levels and merchandising presentation.
• Uphold practice presentation and cleanliness at all times.
• Assist with administrative duties, including contact lens orders, follow-ups, and packaging.
• Work in line with practice policies and healthcare guidelines.

Skills & Experience:

• Current experience as a Sales Representative, Sales Consultant, or Sales Account Manager in a upscaled or boutique environment.
• Experience working with high-end clientele.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build genuine relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Sound mathematics knowledge for dispensing and order management.
• Experience with EFTPOS and/or HICAPS.
• A strong sense of fashion, with the ability to style eyewear to suit patients.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 18 per week
