Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring for a Retail Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join our Commercial team to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from November 2025 to February 2026.
As this seasonal role, we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, December – February. If you're ready to help us serve up real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role
As the Retail VM Coordinator, you'll play a key role in bringing the AO merchandise experience to life. You will:
- Partner with the Retail Manager to support the operations of the AO Shops
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and execute the bump-in and merchandising of AO Shops across the precinct
- Translate visual merchandising plans and the AO merchandise range into engaging retail displays, combining creative flair with a strong commercial mindset
- Work closely with the Retail Manager, Staffing Coordinator, and Inventory Planner to ensure smooth delivery and execution
- Oversee the visual merchandising and maintenance of all AO retail locations, ensuring shop floor teams are aligned with master plans and product layouts
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
- Highly developed computer skills with experiences in databases and Microsoft suite
- Proven experience in retail VM operations and execution or similar
- Ability to effectively time-manage and prioritise conflicting tasks to meet deadlines
- Exceptional people skills with the ability to engage and build professional relationships with people from diverse and varied range of cultural backgrounds
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
