Our client is seeking a Customer Service Manager to oversee and support the day-to-day operations of a busy customer service department. This role plays a key part in managing people, processes, and performance to ensure business goals are met and clients receive the highest level of service and support.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the Customer Service team, ensuring staff are performing at their best
  • Review and manage workflow, KPIs, and performance goals
  • Handle and resolve client complaints and enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Audit documentation and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and quality control
  • Conduct regular team meetings to support communication, performance, and staff development
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
  • Support staff training, manage leave requests, and maintain clear performance standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Promote a positive, safe, and collaborative team culture
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a senior customer service or administrative leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and develop teams
  • Strong organisational and time management skills — able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Diploma in Management or Certificate IV in Business Administration (desirable)
  • Experience in process improvement and performance management
