About Us

Our client is a multinational organization that specializes in the installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment for Food manufacturing companies in Australia. Due to significant growth, they are currently recruiting Service Engineer/Technician to join their team.

About the role

Essential responsibilities:

  • Site support with maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and support with new projects.
  • Provide timely and accurate service and visit reports as required.
  • Providing technical support for all machinery within the area of responsibility
  • Work with Aftermarket team to implement aftermarket activities including services, promotion and CRM
  • Report all new project sales opportunities to the Sales Manager
  • Having a good technical/business understanding of the complete product range

Essential qualifications:

  • Trade certificate 3 as "fitter & turner" or "boiler maker"
  • Trade qualification in Electrical with mechanical aptitude is desirable too.
  • More than 5 years' experience in machine servicing, ideally in food processing plants
  • PLC, IPC and servomotor knowledge is a plus.
  • Able to travel and work flexible hours.
  • Self-starter, independent worker and also able to work as part of a team
  • Strong relationship builder within a matrix organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
