Reporting to the General Manager Consumer Partners, you will drive the strategic distribution of general insurance products through banking partners, enhancing Allianz's market presence and expanding its customer base. Your role will develop partnership strategies that align with both Allianz's goals and the needs of banking partners.

About The Role

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Develop strategic partnerships with banking institutions to help distribute general insurance products. Craft partnership strategies that align with Allianz's broader market expansion goals.
  • Negotiation and Agreement Management: Lead complex negotiations with banking partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements that enhance the integration of insurance offerings into banking channels.
  • Obligation management: Own all contractual obligations with banking partners
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison to drive shared goals, resolve issues, and enhance distribution effectiveness.
  • Implementation Oversight: Oversee the seamless implementation of insurance products within banking channels, coordinating efforts to align with partner systems and processes.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish comprehensive metrics and monitor the performance of distribution initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize outcomes.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Refinement: Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the banking sector.
  • Innovation and Product Development: Collaborate closely with product development teams to innovate and tailor insurance offerings that meet the needs of banking partners and their customers.

About You

  • 10+ years financial services/ general insurance industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a complex portfolio of accounts.
  • Experience in developing sales teams.
  • Good technical knowledge of relevant lines of insurance and all associated legislation.
  • Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcomes.
  • Ability to proactively identify business risk and how to assess and reduce the likelihood and impact.
  • Experience with leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
