About the Opportunity
As a Senior Consumer, Community, Engagement & Partnerships Officer in the Consumer Engagement team within the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will be at the heart of connecting the SDPR program with the people it's designed to serve. This role offers the opportunity to lead initiatives that ensure every voice – from metropolitan hubs to the most remote towns – is heard and reflected in the program.
The SDPR is one of the largest health transformation projects in NSW, creating a single, secure digital health record for every person across the state. You'll help bring this to life by building trusted relationships, gathering meaningful insights, and co-designing engagement approaches that put patients, carers, and communities at the centre.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the rollout of consumer, carer and community engagement plans, tailored to meet the needs of diverse and priority populations.
- Design & deliver workshops, forums and information sessions for community groups, LHDs, SHNs, NGOs, NFPs and peak bodies.
- Collaborate with NSW Health teams, community organisations and advocacy groups to co-create solutions.
- Track & analyse engagement data and feedback to inform strategy and continuously improve outcomes.
- Develop resources, briefs and awareness materials that build capability and program understanding across NSW Health.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven expertise in consumer engagement such as supporting patients, carers, families.
- Holds relevant tertiary qualifications or has equivalent experience in a related field.
- Brings leadership skills that inspire trust, collaboration and positive change.
- Excels in clear, confident communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Is comfortable working with data and digital tools to measure impact and engagement.
