Your team
You will be a leader within Hollard's Commercial Direct Distribution Team, which is responsible for managing Hollard's portfolio of white-label distribution partnerships. The Senior Manager, Distribution Development role has a focus on the development of clear, executable strategies for the Direct Distribution channel and our strategic alliance partnerships that support profitable growth and the achievement of the Hollard Group and Commercial Division strategies.
Your role
As a Senior Manager, Distribution Development you will execute Direct Distribution business strategy and strategies for each of our strategic alliance partners with a focus on customers first and the fair exchange of value between customers, partners and Hollard leadership team.
Your duties and responsibilities
- Facilitate the development of the Direct Distribution strategy and annual business plan in line with the Hollard Group and Commercial strategies
- Facilitate the development and ongoing review of partnership strategies and Joint Business Plans with all Direct strategic alliance partners in collaboration with the strategic alliance leads
- Deliver advisory support, research and analysis including market scans, competitor
- Develop high quality presentations and reports for senior audiences including CLT, ELT, Board and external stakeholders such as senior executives at strategic alliance partners and regulators
- Represent Direct Distribution in key organisational forums and programs, and build a strong network across Hollard and our key partner
Your knowledge and experience
- Proven experience in corporate and business strategy development, ideally gained within a consultancy or a mature in-house strategy function
- Extensive experience in the Australian General Insurance industry (both Personal and Commercial lines) with strong knowledge of our key competitors, industry dynamics and market trends
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to link strategy to business performance drivers and financial outcomes
- Must have stakeholder influence and collaboration skills, with a track record of navigating complex organisational environments to deliver strategic outcomes
- Exceptional communication and presentation capability to deal with executives, senior leaders, and diverse stakeholders
