The opportunity

PKF Sydney and Newcastle is seeking a intermediate or Senior to join the Business Advisory Services team in Sydney. You will be working alongside a group of hard-working professionals. The role

This position lies within our Business Advisory Services team. You will be a team player with excellent initiative. Ability to build trust and relationships with clients and colleagues is key. Having good communication and mentoring skills will assist you in providing support and training to junior staff members. You will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and enjoy working in a busy team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Expert Financial Reporting across a diverse range of business entities
  • Skillful Tax Compliance for entities of various structures, alongside detailed advisory services
  • In-depth research into taxation and business matters
  • Proficiency in widely used accounting software such as Xero, MYOB
  • Building and nurturing client relationships, as well as guiding junior team members
  • Contribution to team training and mentoring, fostering a culture of continuous learning
  • Ability to identify issues and provide solutions in a proactive manner.

What you need to apply

CA/CPA qualification or active pursuit of qualification and at least 3 years of chartered experience in a similar role. Ideal experience would be within mid-tier or Big 4 exposure, proficient in Xero and MYOB, excellent written and verbal communication.
