I am a 50+ year old married man with children, living in a warm and welcoming home. Our environment is enjoyable and, at times, busy for staff. I am seeking a compassionate and flexible Support Worker to assist with my personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Morning Shifts: The successful candidate will be offered morning shifts on both weekdays and weekends, following a two-week roster. You may be offered 6-7 shifts per fortnight (approximately 25-32 hours). Shifts on offer begin at 6:30 am and end between 10:30 am and 11:30 am.
  • Flexibility: A major aspect of this role is the ability to take on additional shifts when other carers are unavailable, from Monday to Sunday.
  • Personal Care:Assistance will be required with bowel care, enemas, urinary care, dressing, and hoisting as part of my daily routine. While there is no heavy lifting, safe practices will be strictly followed, and a good level of physical fitness is required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Nursing experience is not necessary, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
  • The role demands a proactive and respectful individual who values professionalism and the importance of maintaining healthy boundaries.
