AMB is committed to providing our team with a safe and positive workplace so that they can deliver the highest quality, sustainable services for our clients and partners.  AMB is currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our dynamic team in Tamworth, NSW.

About You:

  • Solid, demonstratable experience in plant operations, particularly in civil construction.
  • A valid driver's licence and OHS Construction Induction (White Card) are essential.
  • GPS experience critical and National RIIMP qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • A Team player, with a strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace.
  • Comfortable using modern construction industry apps for functions such as site & fleet management, HR, and workflow management.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate 6-Ton to 30-Ton excavators, and when appropriate a diverse range of other plant machinery, including recycling processing equipment.
  • Employ GPS, laser systems and operational skills.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to achieve project goals, uphold our high standards of safety and quality, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a workplace culture that values safety, positivity, and environmental stewardship.
  • Must be willing to work away when required.
