About the role
PWD Plumbing Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Operator to join our growing team in Moree, NSW. As a full-time Civil Operator, you will play a vital role in the execution of our construction projects, operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support the successful delivery of civil infrastructure works.
Job Role
- Safely operate and maintain a range of heavy plant and equipment, including excavators, backhoes, loaders, and graders
- Carry out earthmoving and site preparation activities such as digging, levelling, and compacting
- Support the construction of roads, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on assigned equipment
- Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents
What we're looking for
MUST HAVES:
- Experience as a Civil Operator or similar heavy equipment operator role
Experience with Civil drainage
Proficient in the operation of a range of civil construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, graders, and backhoes
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and a strong safety-first mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
- Valid driver's licence and relevant licences/tickets for operating heavy machinery
