What you'll do?
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for being the point of the escalation for tickets, guiding and upskilling other engineers and taking proactive measures to provide solutions for high value managed service and prepaid support customers. The role will require a heavy focus on security, alongside general systems engineering duties and sits within our Internal IT team.

• Provide services across multiple vendors and vertical technologies delivering excellence in Windows and/or Apple focused technology services.
• Handle escalations from Service Desk Technicians & Engineers, whilst providing mentorship and support throughout the process.
• Troubleshooting of network connectivity and general systems engineering issues.
• Follow documented workflows and processes for clients, responding to customers directly and take ownership of their tickets.
• Documenting time and technical information into our ticketing systems, as well as our client's information tools.

What you'll bring?

• Previous experience in a Senior Systems Engineer role or similar position - must have exposure to a role in an MSP environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and Exchange online with exposure to hybrid and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Ability to resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues across enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience mentoring and providing support to junior technicians and engineers.
• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills with key stakeholders.

What else do you need to apply?

• Travel on-site to our office in Notting Hill and work in a hybrid capacity.
• Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions
