About the Role

We're looking for an experienced HVAC Installation Technician to join our Brisbane team. This is a full-time, permanent position working across a wide variety of commercial sites. You'll manage and complete installation projects with the support of a highly skilled team and enjoy your evenings and weekends with no on-call roster.

What You'll Bring
  • QBCC Occupational Licence – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration – Mechanical Services Plumbing
  • Restricted Electrical Licence
  • ARCTICK Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
  • Working with Children card (or ability to obtain)
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card)
  • Ability to pass a Police Check

  • Experience in:

  • Installation of DX and VRF split ducted systems

  • Installation of rooftop package units and ductwork
  • Installation of chilled and condenser water pipework
  • Installation of water-cooled package units
  • Installation of chilled water AHUs and FCUs
  • Toilet and kitchen exhaust systems
  • Commissioning of HVAC systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Curiosity, a learning mindset, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and MS Office proficiency
Desirable Qualifications (Highly Regarded)
  • Trade-qualified Electrical Licence (or ability to complete under PAG licence)
  • Mechanical Plumber qualification
  • Forklift licence
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (or willingness to obtain)
  • OEM VRV/VRF installation course certificates
  • Trade-qualified Sheet Metal Worker
What You'll Do
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Install ductwork, indoor/outdoor units, and zoning systems
  • Coordinate with electricians and other trades on-site
  • Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 5149 standards
  • Complete job checklists, commissioning reports, and client handovers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite
  • Contribute to a strong safety culture and attention to detail
  • Accurately complete paperwork and timesheets
  • Be available for planned after-hours or weekend work when required
