Arup's Perth office is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Leader to join our team and lead complex projects in our Transport Portfolio. As a Design Leader, Project Manager, and Project Director, you will drive the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects, while providing mentorship to developing staff. This leadership role is vital for delivering high-quality, technically advanced projects and fostering key client relationships.
The Opportunity
- Lead and manage the delivery of large, complex projects within the Transport sector, including highways, rail, and maritime.
- Drive the successful coordination of design teams across multiple offices and disciplines.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities.
- Oversee procurement, contract negotiation, and financial performance of projects.
- Provide mentorship to team members, supporting their growth and development in design leadership.

Is this role right for you?
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or a similar discipline, with a membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Extensive industry experience in major infrastructure and buildings projects.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A passion for excellence and a track record of successfully delivering high-quality projects.
