Immediate start available for a Finance Manager on a 2/3 month contract.

Responsibilities & Duties


•  Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.


•  Preparation of daily cashflow forecasts and management to ensure optimal financial health.


•  Prepare monthly financial management reports within the required deadlines and provide insights into financial performance and trends.


•  Monthly review of actual vs budgeted results with recommendations for areas of improvement.


•  Preparation of year-end financial reporting pack for the external Accountants.


•  Facilitate tax compliance requirements, including FBT, GST, BAS, PAYG and payroll tax.


•  Processing and lodgement of long service leave for construction award workers.


•  Monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of bonus', incentives and profit share payments.


•  Process supplier payments ensuring all invoices are made when payment is due.


•  Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.


•  Dealing with customer queries as and when required.


•  Assistance with day-to-day responsibilities when the finance team are unavailable.


•  Adhoc duties as and when required.
