We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Group Leader/Room Leader to join our Nursery team and play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of our youngest minds.

About St Luke's Long Day Care:

  • 78-place centre featuring 5 well-appointed learning rooms
  • Two spacious, shaded outdoor play areas with a sandpit and herb garden
  • Highly experienced and supportive Centre Director and Assistant Director

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive educational program
  • Support each child's growth and development in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment
  • Engage in ongoing professional and personal development
  • Promote St Luke's within the local community in line with Catholic Early EdCare's values and educational philosophy

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA
  • Childcare First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
  • Effective workplace communication skills
  • Willingness to take Child Protection Training
