Marketing Manager
- Take charge of brand growth across a purpose-driven group
- Hybrid work flexibility – Milton HQ
- Ideal for a proactive marketing all-rounder who gets things done
About Us
At MiGroup Australia, we're a values-led group of national brands - MIGAS, MiRecruit, and MiTraining - working together to develop the next generation of Australia's workforce. With over 35 years of experience in recruitment, training, and employment, we're proud to help individuals unlock their potential and launch successful trade and professional careers.
We're searching for a Marketing Manager who can own and elevate our marketing function. You are someone who enjoys both doing and leading, with the capability to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
The role
This is a generalist role where you'll lead and deliver the marketing activity across the brands.
Working closely with the CEO, internal stakeholders and with a small team, you'll build brand equity, generate leads, and drive acquisition campaigns through clever, creative, and results-driven thinking.
You'll be comfortable shifting between developing campaign strategy to copywriting, from analysing campaign data, to design and website updates. This is an opportunity for a marketer who wants to own the function end-to-end and make an impact on the business.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns across web, social, email, and offline channels
- Drive candidate and course lead generation through performance-focused marketing
- Champion brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring alignment with business values and goals
- Lead and develop the marketing officer supporting their growth and output
- Demonstrate 3-5 years of staff management experience to effectively lead and develop team members
- Collaborate with internal teams to support recruitment, sales, and events
- Manage and optimise digital platforms including websites, social media, and marketing automation tools
- Create and curate engaging content tailored to key audience segments
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, using insights to refine and improve future activity
- Contribute to tender submissions and business proposals with polished, persuasive messaging
About you
- 5+ years of marketing experience, including time in a corporate generalist role
- Proven ability to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Strength in content creation and copywriting – from campaign messaging to blog posts
- Comfortable managing digital channels (e.g. SEO, SEM, social, CRM/email platforms)
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and analysing campaign performance
- Collaborative and hands-on approach—you're a doer who leads by example
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Why join us
- Purpose-led organisation with a national footprint and 36-year history
- Opportunity to shape and lead marketing across three dynamic brands
- Hybrid working arrangements (3 days in CBD fringe office and 2 days WFH)
- Warm and collaborative working culture with strong leadership team
How to Apply
Please include a thoughtful cover letter outlining your relevant experience together with your resume when applying.
Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.
