We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at Amazing Grace Early Learning Centre Railway Estate. This is a rewarding flexible position where you'll make a positive impact on children's health and wellbeing through nutritious, delicious meals.

About Chef or Cook Role:

  • Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, following set menus and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen that complies with food safety standards.
  • Cater to allergies, intolerances, and cultural food preferences.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to encourage positive attitudes towards healthy eating.
  • Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen supplies.

What We're Looking in our Chef or Cook : Flexibility In Hours

  • Previous experience as a Chef or Cook, ideally within childcare or similar settings.
  • Knowledge of food safety, nutrition, and menu planning for young children.
  • Current Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Hold or willing to obtain Child Protection certificate.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • A caring, reliable, and positive attitude.
